Burger Bar

The Burger Bar, a Bristol, a southwest Virginia iconic restaurant since 1942. Legend has it that this is the restaurant that Hank William's chauffeur stopped at on his last ride to get a bite to eat. Hank was being driven from Knoxville, Tennessee to Canton, Ohio for a show that next night. Charles Carr, William's chauffeur ask Hank if he wanted anything to eat, and Hank replied "no", which is the last word he ever spoke. Charles discovered Hank had died several hours later when he stopped in Oak HIll, West Virginia.
