Southern Steam

Morning light highlights the breath of steam as Southern 4501 comes to life for another train excursion from the Grand Depot Junction in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Summerville, Georgia and back. Built in 1911, this Mikado type 2-8-2 steam locomotive is well-maintained by the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum as a "rolling exhibit" to relive the days of train travel from the past.
