Molly 433
The Norfolk and Western Class M "Molly" 4-8-0 steam locomotive at the Virginia Creeper Trailhead in Abingdon, Virginia. Built in 1907 by the American Locomotive Works, she ran as a back-up locomotive on the Abingdon Branch of the Norfolk and Western Railroad. No 433 was retired in 1958 when N&W railroad switched to diesel engines. They turned on her headlight recently and it looks like the old girl is literally coming back to life!
