Wolf Hills Christmas
The street lights and Christmas lights cast a warm glow on old town Abingdon, Virginia. In 1760, Daniel Boone named the area Wolf Hills, after his dogs were attached by a pack of wolves during a hunting expedition. In 1778 the town was incorporated as Abingdon, said to be named for Abingdon-on-Thames the ancestral home of Martha Washington in Berkshire, England.
