The colorful locomotive of the Mt Hood Scenic railroad, a century old short line that offers scenic trips in norther Oregon. The line is 22 miles long and takes one to Parkdale, Oregon and back with long range views of Mt. Hood and the luscious agriculture of the Hood River valley. The Mt Hood railroad also operates freight service two to three times a week to the industries along the route.
