Mountain Rail
The Heisler No. 6 steam locomotive pulls the Durbin Rocket excursion train along the Greenbrier River near Durbin, West Virginia. This engine, built in 1929, was used for logging operations and has never been out of service. This scene is reminiscent of what many of these mountain railroads would have looked like in service... routinely following the rivers in order to attain the most level grades possible.
