Rim Rock Railroad
The "Rim Rock Railroad" was a frontier town and recreation park that was located atop Little Stone Mountain near Norton, Virginia. It operated in the late 1960s through the early 1970s as did many such theme parks of the day. The steam engine, which pulled the "Rim Rock Railroad" was moved to the Natural Tunnel State Park, near Duffield, Virginia in 1996, many years after the park closed. It has been cosmetically restored with this lovely John Deere green and yellow paint scheme and is available for viewing at the Natural Tunnel State Park.
