Agusta Military Academy
The former Augusta Military Academy in Augusta County, Virginia was founded by Confederate veteran Charles S. Rollier on this site in 1890. Some 7,000 students from the U.S. and abroad were educated here before it closed in 1984. It was the first military academy in Virginia and was the fist to offer a Junior Reserve Officers Program. The building was constructed in the early 1900s.
